Ever wonder from where leaves emerge? Join us and find out the answer to this question as we take a walk through the preserve to learn more about trees.

One of the first signs of spring are leafy green new leaves. Ever wonder from where leaves emerge? Join us and find out the answer to this question as we take a walk through the preserve to learn more about trees. We will also examine twigs, buds, and bark up close and learn how to force tree buds to unfurl their leaves early. A fun tree art project will be offered at the end of the program. Recommended for adults with an adventurous spirit and families with children ages 6-12.
