The Henry Institute Series on Public and Non-Profit Leadership presents: Ryan VerWys, President and CEO, Inner City Christian Federation. Mr. VerWys will share his own professional journey about how he became involved with Public and Non-Profit entities. All are welcome to attend.

Careers in government service and the non-profit sector require specific leadership, theoretical, and technical skills which are critical to successful operations and implementing sound public policy. This series hosts individuals who have chosen a career in public and non-profit leadership as they consider the challenges and rewards of their work. This week's guest is Ryan VerWys.

VerWys graduated from Calvin College in 2000 with a BS in Social Work. Prior to his time at Calvin he attended and evangelist training program as well as DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative. VerWys has worked with several Christian organizations such as Kingdom Causes Bellflower, Our Place Housing Solutions, Little House Inc., and Christian Reformed Home Missions. Now, he is the CEO of Inner City Christian Federation.

ICCF is a nonprofit housing corporation whose leadership is motivated by, and programs shaped by, its belief that all people deserve safe, clean, affordable housing.
