Career Break with Jack Lessenberry

Our next Career Break for Political Science/IR students is scheduled for Tuesday, April 17 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and features Jack Lessenberry.

You may know Jack Lessenberry as Michigan Radio’s senior political analyst, through his on-air interviews and commentary on NPR.  He is also the head of the journalism faculty at Wayne State University and is a writer and contributing editor for a number of newspapers. Mr. Lessenberry was a former foreing correspondent for and executive national editor of The Detroit News during which time he reported from more than 40 countries.

Lessenberry has expertise in political areas, as well as journalism, with nearly forty years of experience in Michigan, U.S. and global politics and in every medium from newspapers to the internet.

Jack Lessenberry will join us on April 17 in the Political Science Department Conference Room (2nd floor of the DeVos Communication Building in the Political Science Department Office Suite).  There is limited seating available for this event, so you MUST RSVP to reserve a place -- email Ellen Hekman at elh4@calvin.edu to save a place.
