Nate Knapper graduated from Calvin in 2008 with a BA in Political Science and in Communications, and went on to Pepperdine Law School. Since receiving his law degree in 2011, Knapper has been a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Energy; Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan from 2013 to 2016; and ran for the Michigan State House of Representatives in an unsuccessful bid to represent the 43rd district in 2014. After 6 months of training in Quantico, VA, in January of 2017, he became a special agent with the FBI, assigned to the Human Trafficking and Violent Crimes Against Children squad in Detroit.
Knapper will join us for a Career Breakfast on Tuesday, April 3 from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Political Science Department Conference Room (2nd floor of the DeVos Communication Building in the Political Science Department Office Suite). There is limited seating available for this event, so you MUST RSVP to reserve a place -- email Ellen Hekman at elh4@calvin.edu to save a place.
Join us for breakfast and talk with Nate about his career path and the lessons he's learned from the places he's stopped along the way!
