Don't just head home for your fall weekend—pack it with fun, fellowship, outdoor adventure and all the skills you'll need to do it again.

The fall Wilderfest program offers on-campus students the opportunity to participate in a local weekend wilderness, adventure or outdoor recreation-based trip. Each fall, student leaders and instructors offer, plan, prepare and lead backpacking, climbing, road cycling and paddling trips for first and second year students.

Wilderfest teaches and coaches basic backcountry and trip specific skills, create and extend community among students, and allow student to explore local wilderness for the purpose of deepening a “sense of place” and connection to God’s good creation.
