Calvin College's student body will present their annual international student variety show at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, February 25-26, in the Covenant Fine Arts Center auditorium.
Rangeela, a Hindi word for "colorful," weaves together songs, dances and skits from the many non-American cultures represented at Calvin.
This year's theme is "Minority Report." This year the planning committee decided to have Rangeela be an opportunity for the international community to give a report of the celebrations that happen in their home countries and share the joys of their culture.
Calvin has the sixth largest international student population of any liberal arts college in the United States and this annual event is a way for students to highlight that cultural diversity.
