January 11, 2006 == CORRECTION

Well, I got my mistake for 2006 out of the way early!

In my release noting that Calvin College professor Randal Jelks will speak on the history of African Americans in Grand Rapids, I said that his talk would be on Monday, January 17 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day).

In fact next Monday is January 16. So, you may be wondering, will Dr. Jelks speak on Monday or will he speak on January 17? :-)

He will indeed speak on Monday, January 16, as part of a variety of celebrations on the Calvin campus of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

So, my apologies for the error. And feel free to contact Dr. Jelks at 616-526-6186 or rjelks@calvin.edu for more info.
