Petra Press Conference

Hi,

I'm not sure if I gave you a heads-up on this or not, so apologies if this is
a repeat! On March 30 we will be having a press conference and media sneak
preview for Petra: Lost City of Stone.

The event will be from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Prince Conference Center.

There will be 30 minutes of formal remarks (see speakers below), then a ribbon
cutting and then 30 minutes or so for media to explore the exhibition space,
conduct interviews, etc.

Speakers will be:

Dr. Gaylen Byker, president of Calvin and Petra co-chair
June Hamersma, director of the January Series at Calvin and Petra co-chair
George Heartwell, mayor of the city of Grand Rapids
Karim Kawar, His Excellency Ambassador to the United States from the Hashemite
Kingdom of Jordan

Authentic Mediterranean pastries will be served during registration which
begins at 9 am. A Mediterranean-style reception will follow the exhibit tour.

Please RSVP by 5 pm on March 25 if you plan to be there that morning.
