August 30, 2002 == MEDIA ADVISORY
Calvin College counselor Dan Vandersteen will be spending four days in New York
City next week working with family members and friends who lost loved ones in
the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. VanderSteen and a
contingent of West Michigan therapists spent a week in New York last September
and their return next week is timed with the upcoming anniversary of the attack,
a time which is often very difficult for survivors. He will be working with
family members of people who worked for Morgan Stanley. Incredibly, this
firm's WTC office lost 80% of its employees.
