    August 2, 2002 == FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    Calvin College and Pathfinder Resources are teaming up to present a talk on
    Thursday, September 19 by Charisse Strawberry, president of the Tampa chapter of
    the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and wife of former New
    York Yankee Darryl Strawberry. The Strawberrys co-authored Recovering Life, a
    best-selling book on Darryl Strawberry's battles with drug and alcohol addiction
    and the impact on the Strawberry family of those battles. In her speaking
    engagements around the country Charisse Strawberry emphasizes what she calls the
    neglected majority: the families and friends of the addicts. Her talk on
    September 19 will be at 7 p.m. in the Calvin Chapel and is free and open to all.
