"It is an exciting time for these three young men and we are looking forward to coaching them and watching them compete this weekend."
The NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled to take place both Friday and Saturday. Valentine will compete in the 400 meter prelims on Friday with the finals scheduled for Saturday. Kramer and Philipose will compete in the 5,000 meter finals on Saturday.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association named Emily Cefaratti the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for games through March 5. This is the third time that Cefaratti has earned MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors at Calvin.
"Emily is very deserving of this award," said Calvin head coach Blake Boehm. "She played very selflessly the entire weekend. She stayed out of foul trouble and came through when the team needed her most. Her five goals in the last 23 minutes of the Georgetown game kept us in the hunt. I'm very proud of her efforts this weekend."
A senior from Hinsdale, Illinois, Cefaratti scored nine goals this weekend in Kentucky in two games. She also picked up four ground balls and five draw controls.
On Friday, Cefaratti tallied four goals at Asbury on a 16-5 victory. She also recorded four draw controls.
At Georgetown (Ky.), Cefaratti finished with a team-high five goals.
Cefaratti and the Knights return to action on Saturday against Capital.
