VOLLEYBALL
The Calvin women's volleyball team captured its eighth NCAA III Regional crown in program history including its fifth in the last seven years on Saturday, defeating Millikin in four sets. The Knights advance to the NCAA III Quarterfinals in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Knights (30-1)will face Emory University (33-5) in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. (CST) at the Kolf Sports Center on the campus of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Calvin will be meeting Emory for the third time in NCAA III Tournament play with the Knights defeating the Eagles in the 2010 national championship final and in the 2013 national semifinals. A year ago, the two teams met twice in the regular season with each team defeating the other on its opponent's home court.

MEN'S SOCCER
The Calvin men's soccer team claimed a regional title with a 1-0 second round NCAA III Tournment win over Carnegie Mellon University Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Sophomore Bobby McCaw (Dubuque, Ia./Hempstead HS) scored the game's only goal early in the second half. The goal was the sixth in the last four games for McCaw.
The Knights (20-2-0) advance to the NCAA III Tournament sectional semifinals and will face sectional host Messiah (19-0-3) in a Friday night game. The start time has yet to be announced. Calvin and Messiah will be meeting for just the second time with the previous meeting coming in the 2009 national championship finals with the Falcons defeating the Knights 2-0.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
The Calvin men's cross country team captured its first Great Lakes Regional title since 2012, posting a first place team score of 63 points at the regional meet hosted by Hope College Saturday at the West Ottawa Golf Club.
Calvin advances to the NCAA III Championships next Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky. The Knights will be making their 32nd trip to the national championships which ranks third on the all-time NCAA III men's cross country list for national team appearances.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
The Calvin women's cross country team claimed its fourth Great Lakes Regional title in the past five years Saturday morning, posting a first place team score of 90 points.
Saturday's Great Lakes Regional meet was hosted by Hope at the West Ottawa Golf Club.
The Knights advance to the NCAA III Championships next Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky. The Calvin women's cross country team will be making its 27th appearance at the NCAA III Championships next Saturday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Calvin men's basketball team defeated visiting Lawrence Tech 84-63 Saturday afternoon inside Van Noord Arena. The Knights will officially open their season Friday night at home against Finlandia University at 7:30 p.m.
