WOMEN'S SOCCER
Calvin College senior Taylor Ten Harmsel has been named a D3soccer.com All-American.
A native of Holland and a graduate of Holland Christian High School, Ten Harmsel was named to the 2015 D3soccer.com All-America third team released earlier today. It marks the second Division III All-America berth for Ten Harmsel as she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III All-America third team last month.
This fall, Ten Harmsel collected 10 goals, six assists and 26 points on a Calvin team that finished with a final record of 21-3-2. Of her 10 goals, four were game-winners. She was also 2-for-2 in penalty kick chances. She was named the MIAA's Most Valuable Player and landed a spot on the All-MIAA first team for the fourth straight year. She finished her career with totals of 33 goals, 23 assists and 89 points. She now ranks 16th on the Calvin career list in goals, 11th in assists and 14th in points.
At Calvin, Ten Harmsel was part of three MIAA championship teams at Calvin as well as three teams that won MIAA Tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA III Tournament including this year's advancement to the quarterfinals. During her tenure, Calvin produced an overall won-loss record of 63-21-7.

MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING
Calvin College senior Mitch Schroder is the subject of a video interview on the student spotlight section of the MIAA website. In the interview, Schroder offers insights on his experience as a student-athlete at Calvin.
A native of Grand Rapids and a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School, Schroder is a small business major at Calvin with a minor in accounting. In addition to his studies, Schroder is working part-time in the development office of the Calvin Theological Seminary.
As a swimmer, he has been a member of MIAA championship teams in 2014 and 2015 and was an All-MIAA selection as a junior. He has also qualified for the NCAA III Championships each of the last two years.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Calvin/Hope men's basketball rivalry will renew Wednesday night when the two teams meet at 8 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse. The meeting will feature the 192nd meeting between the two rivals in a series that dates back to the 1920-21 season and sees Hope holding a 98-93 series lead.
WOOD-TV 8 - the NBC affiliate in Grand Rapids, brought in Calvin head coach Kevin Vande Streek and senior Jordan Daley (Grand Rapids/Grand Rapids Christian High School) for its Sports Overtime program this weekend. The segment also features Hope men's basketball coach Greg Mitchell and Hope junior Chad Carlson.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The women's basketball continues to be ranked in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll. the Knights are currently ranked 20th in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, released earlier today.
A week ago, Calvin (13-4) was ranked 15th by D3hoops.com. The Knights have been ranked in all eight polls that D3hoops.com has conducted for the 2015-16 season.
