Men's Soccer Gains No. 1 Ranking in NSCAA Division III Top 25 Poll;

MEN'S SOCCER
For the first time since 2010 and for just the second time in school history, the Calvin men's soccer team has gained the top spot in the Division III Top 25 poll conducted by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Calvin is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll after being ranked No. 2 a week ago. Thomas More College (Ky.) is ranked No. 2 in this week's poll.
Under fourth-year head coach Ryan Souders, the Calvin men's soccer team has fashioned an overall record of 18-0-1. The Knights also recently completed their second consecutive 14-0-0 MIAA league season, becoming the first team in league history to post back-to-back 14-0-0 conference records in men's soccer.

Calvin is the top seed for this week's MIAA Tournament and will host rival Hope Wednesday at Zuidema Field at 3 p.m.

VOLLEYBALL
The Calvin women's volleyball team remains ranked No. 4 in the latest AVCA Division III Top 25 poll. Emory is the top-ranked team in the country, receiving 62 first place votes while Juniata is ranked second with one first place vote and Washington University of St. Louis ranked third.

Calvin will host the MIAA Tournament semifinals and finals this weekend at VanNoord Arena.
On Friday, November 6, Hope and Adrian will meet in the first semifinal match at 5:30 p.m. with Calvin set to face Trine at 7:30 p.m. in the second semifinal.
Friday's winners will then meet in the MIAA Tournament final Saturday night at VanNoord Arena at 7 p.m.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING
The Calvin men's and women's swimming and diving teams are both ranked in the latest Collegeswimming.com Division III Top 25 polls.
On the men's side, Calvin is ranked 17th.
On the women's side, Calvin is ranked 24th.

Both Calvin teams return to action this Friday and Saturday, hosting a quadrangular that will include teams from Albion, Carthage and Ohio Northern.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Calvin women's basketball has been ranked sixth in the WBCA/USA TODAY SPORTS Division III Preseason Top 25 poll.
It marks the third preseason Top 25 poll the Knights have been included in. The Knights have also been ranked 10th by D3hoops.com and sixth by WDIII News.
Calvin is set to open its 2015-16 campaign on November 13 at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
