Knights to Remember Event Set to Honor Volleyball Team Saturday Night;
Men's Lacrosse Team Drops Season Opener
VOLLEYBALL
A special program to honor Calvin's 2013 NCAA III Volleyball champions will take place on Saturday, February 8 inside Van Noord Arena. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a desert reception followed by the main event program at 7:30 p.m.
Students will be allowed to come to the event FREE OF CHARGE in the upper bowl at 7:30 p.m. when the main program begins. The event will also be show via live stream video at: http://new.livestream.com/calvin-college
MEN'S LACROSSE
PONTIAC, Mich. - The Calvin men's lacrosse team opened its 2014 campaign with a non-conference game against the Red Men of Carthage College Friday morning at the Pontiac Ultimate Soccer Arena.
Calvin dropped Friday's contest 23-1. Freshman Andrew Haan (Holland/Holland Christian HS) had the lone goal for the Knights.
Calvin is back in actioon on February 22 when it travels to Benedictine (IL) for a 2 p.m. (EST) game.
