Retiring Calvin/Hope Presidents Featured in NCAA Champion Magazine
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Calvin women's basketball team is ranked sixth in the preseason d3hoops.com
Top 25 poll released earlier this evening. Defending national champion Amherst
is the top-ranked team, receiving 13 first place votes. The University of
Chicago - a team that defeated Calvin in the second round of the 2011 NCAA III
Tournament - is ranked second. Chicago received seven first place votes. George
Fox is ranked third, William Paterson ranked fourth and Babson ranked fifth.

CALVIN/HOPE PRESIDENTS FEATURED IN NCAA MAGAZINE
The presidents of Hope and Calvin, Dr. Jim Bultman and Dr. Gaylen Byker, are
featured in the new issue of the NCAA magazine Champion. Both presidents will
be retiring at the end of the current school year. Dr. Bultman has been Hope’s
president since 1999; Dr. Byker has led Calvin since 1995. The story, entitled:
“Retiring Rivals” is written by NCAA feature writer Gary Brown. The story can
