Baseball Series With Adrian Reset for Tuesday/Wednesday;
Video Recap of 2011 MIAA Swimming and Diving Championships
 
BASEBALL
 
The Calvin-Adrian baseball series will indeed take place this week. The series
has now been rescheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. The four-game
series will begin tomorrow with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. A video stream of the
Tuesday twinbill will be available on the Adrian website at:

The series will then continue with a doubleheader at Calvin on Wednesday
beginning at 2 p.m. The doubleheader will feature an audio broadcast at:

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING
 
Last month, the Calvin men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams competed at
the MIAA Championships at Jenison High School. At the meet, the Calvin women’s
team captured its seventh consecutive MIAA title while the Calvin men’s team
finished fourth.
 
Calvin also captured three of the four MIAA MVP awards with sophomore
Elizabeth Counsell claiming the MIAA Women’s Most Valuable Swimmer award,
sophomore Samantha Klaasen receiving the MIAA Women’s Most Valuable Diver Award
and freshman Andy Krafft claiming the MIAA Men’s Most Valuable Diver award.
 
The Calvin Sports Information office with the assistance of Calvin student
Mike Zaagman teamed up to produce a 17-minute video recapping the three days of
competition.
