MEN'S BASKETBALL
As one of the nation’s premier NCAA Division III conferences, the MIAA is
pleased to partner in the association’s Division III identity initiative. The
six attributes featured in the initiative are proportion, comprehensive
learning, passion, responsibility, sportsmanship and citizenship.
Calvin College men's basketball player David Rietema is the subject of this
month's "comprehensive learning" attribute on the MIAA Division III Identity
page. Rietema spent the fall semester studying abroad in Honduras, immersing
himself in the culture of the country as well as the Spanish language.
