the All-MIAA first team and to the Great Lakes All-Region team, finishing sixth
at the MIAA Championships and fourth at the Great Lakes Regional meet. He then
picked up All-America accolades for the second straight year at the NCAA III
Championships, finishing in 16th place, helping Calvin capture its third
national title in the last four years. At the 2005 national meet, Jorritsma
picked up an All-American certificate by placing 35th on a Calvin team that
finished as national runner-ups.
Over the course of his career, Jorritsma was a three-time All-MIAA selection
in cross country and a two-time Great Lakes All-Region choice.
Last spring, Jorritsma earned a spot on the All-MIAA track and field team
after winning a league title in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. He then qualified
for the NCAA III Track and Field Championships in the 10,000 meters where he
finished 11th. Jorritsma was graduated from Calvin this past December.
Jorritsma has also been a four-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and

Siebenschein a third team selection in men's tennis.
The Academic All-America ® Teams program honors 816 male and female
