LONGTIME CALVIN ATHLETICS DIRECTOR/COACH COMPLETES BOOK ON HISTORY OF CALVIN
ATHLETICS

David B. Tuuk, professor of physical education emeritus at Calvin College, as
well as respected coach and athletic director, has written a second volume
chronicling the history of Calvin athletics. "Golden Years" details the
history of each of the 20 sports in which Calvin has participated over the last
50 years. It also includes lists of award recipients and offers write-ups on
traditions such as the Calvin-Hope rivalry, spring break trips, and other
memorable moments in Calvin's sports history. Follow the history of Calvin
athletics through the pages of "Golden Years" and meet the teams, athletes and
coaches that distinguished themselves as Calvin Knights.

In addition, a book signing reception honoring Coach Tuuk will be held on
Tuesday, March 1, 3:30 p.m. in the Spoelhof Coffee shop.

Copies of the book ($15) will be available then and are also available at the
