MEN'S ICE HOCKEY TEAM CAPTURES ACHA DIVISION III NATIONAL CROWN

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- The Calvin ice hockey club captured its first-ever national
title with a 5-0 victory over the University of Georgia Saturday night at the
ACHA Division III National Tournament Saturday night. The victory completed a
four-game sweep of the tournament by the Knights in a three-day span.

Calvin closes out the year with a 29-1 record.

A complete recap of Saturday's title tilt will be sent out later this weekend
after full statistics and honor teams are available.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Calvin upped its record to 2-1 overall and to 1-0 in the league as the Knights
recorded a 9-0 win over visiting Alma Saturday afternoon at the Champion
Fitness Center.
