GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Calvin College junior Katie Nagelkirk has been named the
MIAA's Most Valuable Swimmer in women's swimming and diving. A native of
Zeeland and a graduate of Holland Christian High School, Nagelkirk is the first

team for the third straight year.
"I am thrilled for Katie to receive this honor," said Calvin swim coach Dan
Gelderloos. "Katie has had an outstanding season and it is wonderful to see her
recognized by the rest of the league coaches. Our women's swimming and

the All-MIAA team and Stevens her first.
At the MIAA Championships last weekend at the Holland Aquatic Center, Nagelkirk
