    The Calvin Alumni office invites the public to a special edition of
    "Calvin Around Town" (a Grand Rapids Alumni Chapter-sponsored event)
    featuring Frank Deford (Sports Illustrated) and a panel that includes
    Bob Becker (Grand Rapids Press) and Jack Doles (WOOD-TV8) to talk about
    sports in America on Monday, January 8, 2001 from 6pm - 8pm.

    Reservations are $10 and include an informal hors d'oeuvres/ beverage
    reception with our special guests in the lobby of the Van Andel Arena
    (6pm) and a discussion with them (approx. 7pm) in the banquet rooms that
    are located down the hallway near the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame.
