The Calvin Men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 sudden-death overtime loss
to the Maple Leafs of Goshen College Tuesday afternoon at Calvin Field,
dropping to 4-6 overall (1-1 MIAA).
Goshen (5-3 overall) drew first blood in the 10th minute of the match
as Sam Richardson scored on a loose ball in front of Calvin's net to

home. DeJonge, Calvin's leading scorer, has 10 goals on the season.
Regulation expired with the score even at 1 apiece.
Overtime would belong to Goshen however as the Maple Leafs wasted

goalkeeper, tucking the ball neatly in the left side of the goal to give
the Maple Leafs a stunning sudden death victory.
