BUS-359   Internship in Business

Internships involve a minimum of ten to fifteen hours of work a week in a professional setting with an approved employer-supervisor in a business or nonprofit organization. Academic work involves readings, seminars/workshops, reflective journals, and a major paper/presentation. For business majors the internship must be in the student?s area of business concentration in order to meet that concentration?s requirements. Prerequisites: Business 160, Business 203 and approval of both the internship professor and the internship coordinator.
