The Certificate in Speech and Hearing Foundations provides post-baccalaureate students from other disciplines all of the necessary prerequisite course work in speech pathology and audiology to apply to most graduate programs in speech-language pathology.

Overview

The Certificate in Speech and Hearing Foundations provides in a convenient online format all of the necessary prerequisite course work in speech pathology and audiology to apply to graduate programs in speech-language pathology.

Students with bachelor degrees from disciplines outside of speech-language pathology and audiology are required by our accreditation body to meet certain requirements which are fulfilled by prerequisite courses. This certificate may also serve as a precursor to a degree-completion program for a BA in Speech Pathology and Audiology.

These courses may also be taken individually if a student already has met some of the prerequisites through course work at other institutions.
