Who is this program for?
The 32-hour program is a bachelor of arts (BA) program that is ideal for students pursuing major or minor programs in other disciplines, such as math, engineering, or computer science (or even Chinese, political science, or music!) and are interested in a career in applied research and technology.
The in-depth physics major (BS degree) is for those planning to pursue graduate study in physics and interested in a career in research and academia. It is excellent preparation for graduate school. Our students have been admitted into some of the top physics graduate programs in the country.
