Do you want to live and work in Latin America? Or simply live and work with Latino people in North America? The Latin American studies minor will prepare you by offering a chance to discover truths about the history, culture, language, and contemporary realities of Latin America.

More about us

The interdisciplinary Latin American studies minor features classes in history, economics, geography, political science and sociology. As a LAS student, you'll also participate in at least one off-campus program. The minor pairs well with a variety of majors, including international development, Spanish and political science.
