Join a close community of history lovers, and get involved through student-led organizations, department-sponsored events and Calvin's nationally-ranked off-campus programs.
- Whether for a summer, semester or an interim, history students have the opportunity to study abroad either through Calvin's off-campus programs or non-Calvin programs. Each of these programs will push you to be a more globally aware student and will challenge you in your specific field of study.
- Gain experience outside the classroom and immerse yourself in our local community by finding an internship with the History department. You'll have the opportunity to partner with organizations such as museums, historical societies or local non-profits in the Grand Rapids area.
- Take advantage of the rich community around you and get involved with History department events and broaden your understanding of History and the world through Colloquia lectures.
- Explore the diverse and passionate student community that Calvin has to offer and join a student organization.
