The global studies minor is not a part of any one department; it's an interdepartmental collaboration among the foreign language departments to provide the perfect complement to almost any major.

Language majors can benefit greatly from the global studies minor. With the additional coursework and requirements, you will gain the skills you need to navigate the culture and to inhabit the thought-world surrounding your language.

Business or engineering majors will be equipped to compete in a global marketplace, where awareness of international trends and cultural realities is crucial.
