At Calvin, we believe that all good writing leads to truth. Learn what it means to be a Christian writer through our interdisciplinary journalism minor.

Through courses across disciplines, develop technical skills in writing and an understanding of journalism and its role in society. You'll study feature journalism, photography, documentaries and more. And, as a journalism minor you'll complete a semester-long internship experience.

Student involvement

Study abroad in England, Hungary, Ghana or New England; Participate in biannual, department-wide retreats; Write or help to coordinate Chimes or Dialogue; Attend the Festival of Faith and Writing; Volunteer for the Youth Writing Festival.
