Join our community of young women who want to impact the world for Christ through excellent design, and help us break down barriers in engineering.
Calvin has the resources to equip you to succeed:
- Clustered dorms and designated study rooms to serve as space to share your experiences with other women
- Networking activities sponsored by the department to help you make connections
- Student organizations such as Calvin Women Scientists and the West Michigan chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
We have a regular tutor waiting to help freshmen and sophomore engineering students (especially women students, but not exclusively) in a common study room. Even if you don't need a tutor, come work on homework there and meet other engineering students. You can bring homework from any class—or even just a fun, non-school-related project. Noordeweir Conference room—just inside the women's wing every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
