Business Department Adjunct Instructor of Small Business Management

Job Description

The Business Department at Calvin College invites applications for part-time instruction in the areas of general business to teach our BUS 367 Small Business Management course.

The appointment will be for the spring semester, beginning January 29, 2018, contingent on course enrollment. Evening or daytime classes are possible.

Required Experience

A master’s degree or above in business is preferred, although applicants with an undergraduate degree and five or more years of experience in small business management will also be considered. All applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods and instructional technology as required.

Business Department Adjunct Graduate Instructor of Advanced Topics in Tax & Law

Job Description

The Business Department at Calvin College invites applications for part-time instruction in the areas of tax and law to teach one section of ACCT 508 Advanced Topics in Tax & Law, a required course for the Master of Accounting degree.  This course builds on introductory tax and business law courses and covers select topics encountered by individuals, corporations, partnerships, non-profits, and trusts. The course includes primary research of relevant codes, regulations and cases in developing analyses and evaluations.

The appointment will be for the spring semester, beginning January 29, 2018.  Evening or daytime classes are possible.
