Student organizations: Hammock Club

Students in the Calvin Hammock Club hang out inside Calvin's Crossing, a bridge that connects east and west campus.

College is about trying new things and meeting other people who share your interests. At Calvin, there are about 70 student-led organizations that you can join, giving you the freedom to explore a wide range of fun activities.

One example of the many opportunities at Calvin to get involved is the newly-established hammock club. Formed in the spring of 2013, the Calvin College Hammock Club was created by students who wanted to turn their love for spending time in hammocks into fellowship for anyone who might share their interest. This group of hammock-loving students can been seen stringing up their hammocks in trees, on Calvin's "Crossing" (pictured above) and in many other places on campus.

Want to learn more about the Calvin College Hammock Club? Check them out on Facebook, then grab your hammock and join this group of fellow leisure-lovers to explore new places around campus for relaxing and enjoying God's creation.
