More about what you can expect

1. Faith and Learning

Choose a course that interests you and be taught by a professor who is a committed Christian and loves teaching. You’ll learn alongside other Entrada students and current Calvin students. You’ll also get your own academic coach who will help you do your very best.

2. College Credit

You’ll learn a lot! That means you’ll earn college credits that count towards your degree at Calvin or a different school of your choice. (The Calvin registrar’s office can assist with transferring your credits.)

3. College Living

Make friends! You’ll live in the dorms with your fellow Entrada students and enjoy college campus benefits like the gymnasium, pool, and dining hall. You’ll also gain access to campus activities like worship services, Bible studies, plus service learning opportunities in the Grand Rapids community.

4. Money for College

Some Entrada Scholars are awarded up to $10,000 in scholarships, free money that renews each year they’re an undergraduate student at Calvin. The $10,000 includes a $4,000 Entrada Scholars award, a $4,000 Mosaic Award, and the $2,000 Visit Grant—plus an additional award if you’re the first student in your immediate family to complete a bachelor’s degree. See who’s eligible for these scholarships.

Entrada is June 30–July 24, 2024
