Lecture:  Reasons Why

Abstract:  “A theory of explanation is really a theory of answers to why-questions, and the core of a theory of answers to why-questions should, I think, be a theory of reasons why. I’ll discuss and defend my theory of reasons why, according to which the reasons why something happened are all and only its causes and grounds.”
