There are multiple models of the hyperbolic plane. We will learn the rules for drawing geodesics in the conformal disk model, the upper half plane model, and the hyperboloid model of the hyperbolic plane.  After describing hyperbolic isometries, an important tessellation of the hyperbolic plane will be presented. We will conclude by discussing some connections that hyperbolic geometry has with number theory and algebra.
