Join the Calvin College Capella as they join forces with the Grand Rapids Bach Chorale for a first time collaboration on Sunday, November 3 at 7:30pm in the Basilica of St. Adalbert. Martin Werner and Joel Navarro will be co-conductors in a celebration of the 400th anniversary of the death of Giovanni Gabrieli in 1612. The ensembles will perform polychoral music written for the Cathedral of St. Mark in Venice centuries ago. The beautiful acoustics of the magnificent Basilica will greatly enhance this musical experience.
