A Church Response to Interpersonal Violence

A conversation with authors Ruth Everhart and Ruth Tucker. Listen, learn, and consider how the church can begin to make a positive difference in the areas of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Ruth Everhart is a writer and pastor. In her memoir, Ruined, Ruth recounts the evening when she and her college housemates were raped at gunpoint while they were seniors at Calvin College. Ruth believed she was ruined, both physically and in the eyes of God.

Ruth Tucker is a writer, teacher, and speaker, author of Black and White Bible, Black and Blue Wife. Ruth tells her story of domestic abuse at the hands of her husband, a charming, well-educated preacher. Ruth offers a balanced biblical approach to intimate relationships and hope to others caught in a cycle of domestic abuse.
